A return of our ever popular three day, two night excursion across the dramatic Welsh landscapes!
Our journey begins near Abergavenny, with a short welcome brief. The first day then takes in some spectacular landscapes and driving roads, taking us all the way to our accommodation at Caer Rhun Hall in Snowdonia, for the first of the two social evening dinners.
Day two sees an opportunity to level the competitive playing field at the group activity, as well as more fantastic roads to stretch the legs, along with photo opportunities at iconic landscapes, with our second social evening at the hotel.
The final day sees a sweeping route, more stunning roadscapes and iconic passes. Opportunities to hear the noise, alongside the last chances for memorable photos at fantastic locations, before we say our farewells and part ways at our dispersal point!
The Welsh Dragon Tour is priced at £675 per vehicle, based on two people sharing the ride. This includes bed and breakfast accommodation, double or twin room as required, loan of high powered radios for the duration of the tour, and a set of easy-application vinyl stickers for your car at the welcome brief to help mark you out on the road! We once again return the the dramatic Eifel region of Germany for the pilgrimage to the ultimate driving experience: The Nurburgring.
Spread over five days and four nights, the group meets in Folkestone for an early tunnel to Calais. Day one is a mile cruncher - leaving the tunnel before jumping straight onto the motorways through Belgium, in Germany stopping at a couple of larger services for any fuel and a leg stretch. The last run takes in some sublime roads through the Vulkaneifel Forest, before landing at the hotel mid afternoon, where we will stay for the duration of the trip
This sees us arrive in time to take advantage of the evening TouristFahrten session on the ‘Ring for those who can’t wait to get a few laps completed, or those wishing to book ring taxis for the ultimate passenger experience! The day ends with a social dinner together back at the hotel, a chance to unwind and socialise over some good food and good drink!
Day two is a mix of driving roads and stunning scenery. A curated tour of the spectacular Moselle Valley - the heart of Germany’s wine region - sees the chance to take on some true driving roads - switchbacks and climbs from the valley floor to the ridges, with stops planned at some beautifully picturesque towns and villages interspersed.
The evening is then yours to enjoy - join us for a social meal and drink, or make plans for to explore local eatery!
The middle day of the tour is an opportunity to explore the area under your own steam. Perhaps a visit to one of the Moselle’s numerous vineyards, or a more automotive theme with the Ring museum? Perhaps join one of the curated route tours of the area under one of our guides - the choice is yours.
Another TF session in the evening awaits those who wish to tuck a few more laps under their belts!
Day four is the chance to stretch the legs. A guided drive heading east toward the city of Koblenz, we then turn north on to Autobahn 61 - for the uninitiated… This section is derestricted. The chance to stretch the legs and run the speedo to…. whatever you see fit.
Peeling off the Autobahn we head west toward the Hurtgen Forest and Eifel Nationalpark - more stunning scenery and switchbacks pattern the drive here, following down back through the Vulkaneifel forest before swinging across to the hotel. As with each evening of our tour, more Nurburgring TF laps will be available for those who have been bitten by the bug!
Our final day we bid farewell to Germany and head for home. Another mile cruncher, we head out through Luxembourg, clipping Belgium, working our way down for a lunch stop in Reims.
Topped off with human fuel we take a stop off at the historic Circuit de Reims pits and grandstand for last minute photo opportunities at this wonderfully preserved slice of road Grand Prix racing.
We say our official final farewells here, after this comes the channel dash! Making time toward the tunnel we jump on the A26 for the final blast back toward England!
The Iron Eagle Driving Tour is priced at £1595 per vehicle, based on two people sharing the ride and a room.
This includes bed and breakfast accommodation, double or twin room as required, loan of high powered radios for the duration of the tour, and your choice of commemorative tshirt, jumper or hoodie. A full suite of photography from our on board media is also made available post trip!
You will also receive a tour guide booklet, detailing acommodation arrangements, suggested routes, as well as recommended eatieries and attractions that may be of interest throughout the tour!

Spring Social at Bicester Motion

We return to the sublime backdrop of Bicester Motion and the fast flowing Demonstration and Handling Circuit with our Spring Social! Join us for a community spirited morning of fast flowing circuit action!
Always popular, places are limited to 25 guest vehicles, ensuring plenty of seat time. Passengers are welcome in front seats, with helmets only required for open topped vehicles. The track will open from 9am to 12 noon on an open pit lane format, with up to 5 cars on track at a time. The morning is priced at £75 per vehicle.
